Saam Niami is a writer, curator, art dealer, and filmmaker based in New York City. He is currently the curator of 25 Allen St., a new gallery in Downtown Manhattan. He is also a copywriter for the creative agency Matte Projects. He has freelanced for The New York Times, New York Magazine, Hyperallergic, Elephant Magazine, Interview Magazine, 032c Magazine, and many others.
Saam is interested in documenting, archiving, and producing culture. He is primarily interested in uplifting and empowering the most talented and hardworking members of the contemporary arts and culture spaces as is displayed in all of his work. Saam is proud of his keen eye for underappreciated creators and innovators.
